Jumuah Khutba in English

Q: In our masjid there is a scholar but he is not an Aalim. He gives the Jummah Khutba in English. Is this allowed? Is the Jummah salaah accepted?

A: It is not allowed to give the khutbah in English. However, the Jumu`ah Salaah will be valid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
