Q: I recently got married and my parents agreed to the marriage under the assumption that my husband is in medical school and will become a doctor. However, my husband is failing and is borderline of being kicked out. I am extremely stressed and need help in asking Allah Ta’ala to keep him in medical school and graduate. I am fearful of what our future will be like and how disappointed my parents and his parents will be. He has a meeting with the deans coming up and that will determine whether he stays in school or not. Please advise me of any duas or acts I can do to help keep my husband in school and to change the minds of the deans to allow him to stay in school. Please keep me and my husband in your duas.
A: Read durood shareef in abundance and after every namaaz recite the following seven times: “Rabbi innee maghloobun fantasir”.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
