Q: I want to know that what should we recite on the 27th night of laila tul qadar?
A: It is reported in a Hadith that Hazrat Aaisha (Radiyallahu Anha) onced asked Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) what should I recite if I find Laylatul Qadr (the night of power). Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said to her: Recite the following dua:
اَلَّلهُمَّ إنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّيْ
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
عن عائشة أنها قالت يا رسول الله أرأيت إن وافقت ليلة القدر ما أدعو ؟ : قال تقولين اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني (ابن ماجة #3850)
