Using the (AS) for Sahaabah

Q: I need to know about AS, can we use it for other sahaba like Hazrat Ali RA, and others?

A: For the Sahaabah we should say “Radhiyallahu Anhu” . It is in keeping with respect that we write these duaas in full and not suffice on the abbreviations.

قوله ( ويستحب الترضي للصحابة ) لأنهم كانوا يبالغون في طلب الرضا من الله تعالى ويجتهدون في فعل ما يرضيه ويرضون بما يلحقهم من الابتلاء من جهته أشد الرضا فهؤلاء أحق بالرضا وغيرهم لا يلحق أدناهم ولو أنفق ملء الأرض ذهبا  زيلعي (رد المحتار 6/754)
