Explanation of the Hadith “every disease has a cure”

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am a Muslim and I am suffering from an incurable neurological movement disorder called Cervical Dystonia.

It is written in the Quran or Hadith but I don’t know where exactly, that every disease has a cure in this world, but still my disorder is incurable.

Secondly Allah loves us more then 70 mother’s and my mom would never want such a disorder on me, while Allah who loves his slaves more then 70 mother’s has sent this disorder on me. So I am having doubts on such things.

Bismillaah

A: There is no need to doubt. If the doctors have not discovered the cure it does not mean that it is incurable. If they cannot find it then it is their weakness and limitation.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
