Making a wasiyyat regarding who should attend one’s funeral

Q: Can a person make a wasiyyat as to whom should be at the funeral or who should be at the deathbed and who not?

Bismillaah

A: He does not have the right to say this. Every Muslim has the right to attend the funeral. This is a Christian and kuffaar way and has nothing to do with Islam. It is totally alien to Islam.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
