Can Female Lawyers Work in Pakistan Courts?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am a female lawyer. Is it permissible for me to work in Pakistan courts?

Bismillaah

A: What we understand of Pakistan is that though it is called an Islamic country, but the law system entirely is not in accordance to the teaching of the shariah. Hence, if it is something that is not in conformity to the shariah then in any case whether you are supportive of it or you advise your clientele regarding it then you will be responsible for the sin.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
