Can You Do Nikah Twice with the Same Woman?

Q: Can a person do nikah twice with the same woman. I am from Pakistan, residing in China. Can I do nikah with my fiance there and when I come back to Pakistan I do nikah again. Our parents are willing to our marriage.

Bismillaah

A: The nikaah does not have to be repeated. And if it is repeated it will not affect the marital status.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
