Q: What is the ruling of kissing your mosque hat (topie) before and after wearing it as well as kissing the musalla after salaah and the Quraan after reading it? When I was in madressah I was told to do so by the Aapas.
A: You do not have to kiss the musalla and topi etc. However, kissing the Qur’aan Shareef out of love is permissible and recommended.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
