Doing Qurbaani for a person who passed away

Q: Can we do Qurbani (sacrifice) for a person who passed away? 

Bismillaah

A: Yes. What you may do is intend that the thawaab of the qurbani go to the deceased.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
