How to conduct oneself with ghair muqallid relatives

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Among my relatives, here is some ghair muqallids. In the Islamic point of view what should we keep company with them or how should I treat them ?

Bismillaah

A: Don’t ever discuss controversial deeni issues and matters. Show them the ikraam that you will show any other muslim. Make it known to them that you will not entertain any type of controversial deeni discussions with them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
