Q: What’s the ruling on a man who tells the sins and secrets of a wife and who doesn’t protect her or defend her when others backbite her? He also backbites her and airs his grievances to anyone who will listen which in turn has caused people to dislike the sister? What advice do give to a sister in that situation ?
A: Such a person is corrupt.
Make du`aa for him and start taleem in the house and be patient, for Allah loves those who are patient.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
