Woman wearing mozas (leather socks) while in ihraam

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I wore mozas in Madina at 10 am. We travelled to Makkah from Madina and arrived at 5.30 pm in Makkah. We will be staying for more then 15 days in Makkah. We made saee at 1 pm. on the following day. I did not remove my mozas. I had trimmed my hair. Do I have to repeat saee and is there dam to pay.

Bismillaah

A:

1. A musaafir is allowed to make masah on the mozas for 3 days and 3 nights without removing it, except in the case where one is in janaabat. If one is in janaabat then one will have to remove the mozas and wash his entire body.

2. Women are allowed to cover their entire feet in the state of ihraam. Therefore you do not have to give any damm.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
