Why Do Deoband Alims in India Give Taweez Despite It Being Shirk?

Q: It is shirk to wear a taweez. If its shirk then why in India well know alim of deoband give taweez to wear?

A: If the wordings are right and the person places his trust in Allah it is permissible.
