Reciting Durood during the Friday khutbah

Q: Is it allowed to say salam and durood to رسول الله صلي الله عليه و سلم during the Friday khutbah, especially if the Khateeb asks us to send salam.

Bismillaah

A: During the kutbah, it is not permissible for one to speak or recite anything. One should remain silent without reciting anything. If one hears the name of Hazrat Nabi salalahu alaihi wasalam he should recite durood in his heart.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
