Method of cleaning the nose in wudhu

Q: During wuzu, what is the sunnah method of putting water in the nose? Many people put water in the nose with the right hand and clean the right nostril with the small finger of the left hand and the left nostril with the thumb of the left hand, is this proven? Will the above method fulfill the sunnah of cleaning the nose?

Bismillaah

A: The nose is cleaned just with the left small finger and not with the thumb.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
