Eating from an animal that was hunted by a hunting dog

Q: Is the catch of a dog catcher halal or haram?

Bismillaah

A: If you are referring to the bite of the dog then its saliva is napaak, filth and impure. If it hunts down a halaal animal provided the dog was correctly trained according to shar`ee procedures then the animal it has hunted is halaal.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
