Q: What is the best way to celebrate the khatam of Hifdhul Quraan? Should it be a big affair or must it be kept to the minimum? Is it virtous to be feeding the guests in honour of the occassion?
A: This is not supposed to be a celebration nor should anybody encourage any type of formalities with the khatam. If someone wishes to feed he may feed without making it an elaborate affair.
