Photographing Animate Objects: Beyond the Face

Q: Is it permissible to take pictures of any part of an animate object besides the face?

Bismillaah

A: Pictures of the head are not permissible. Pictures of the other body parts are permissible provided it is not the picture of the satr.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
