Children sleeping with the parents in the same bed

Q: Can a child of 10 to 11 years of age sleep with their parents in their bed? Suppose if this happens because of lack of a space in the room? What are the implications if this happens?

Bismillaah

A: Precaution requires that both should be under separate blankets.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
