Performing full Salaah at the railway station

Q: We had a tashkeel of 17 days in Karachi. When we reached the railway station for Lahore we offered four rakaats of asr before the train left from the station. Is it done or we should perform two rakaats?

Bismillaah

A: If you were in Karachi for 17 days and within that period you had to go to the railway station you will read the complete namaaz provided it is within the town.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
