Coming to one’s own conclusions

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: There is a verse in Suratul Baqaraah of the Quran where Allah (Ta’ala) said the infidels should be killed. A friend of my mine has asked me the meaning of this verse and I told him that the infidels referred to are those that attack you first. Am sincerely not sure of this answer. I need the right answer.

Bismillaah

A: The Qur’aan Shareef is not for people like you to read and arrive at their own conclusions. Conclusions will be arrived by those who have specialised knowledge of the Qur’aan.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
