Accepting a gift from a banker

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I have received gold from my father on my wedding and father is a banker so he had bought that gold from the same bank income. Is that gold halaal for me to be used or kept for my daughter?

Bismillaah

A: If he has many forms of income and he has used his halaal income to purchase the gold then it is permissible for you to use it.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
