Touching a page with a Quraanic Ayat written on it without wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1) According to imam Muhammad (Rahmatullahi Alayh) as mentioned in beheshti zewar, a page with a Quran Ayat written should not be touched at all without wudhu. Does this mean that all attached pages bound together e.g. fazail e amaal all cannot be read without wudhu?

2) What is mufti sahebs view on this matter?

Bismillaah

A: This is different. What is meant is that if it is just the Qur’aan Shareef that is written on the page, not where the Qur’aan aayat is just inserted with other text.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
