Is Living 4.9 km from the Masjid a Sinful Excuse for Missing Salaah?

Q: I live just more than 4.9 km from the nearest Masjid. Am I sinful in not attending the Masjid for Salaah?

Bismillaah

A: No, however it is better and more rewarding for you to perform your Salaah in the Musjid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
