Question:

Assalamualaikum

The Honourable Mufti / Head of Department of Fiqh

Hoping that this questionnaire finds you with that Grace of Allah in the best of Health.

My question is on the beard and the views of the four Imams on it. To simplify your answer in a nutshell I have drawn a diagram for you:

Wujoobu ‘Ifaail Luhaa Ibn Rafi’ narrates that Imam Shafi’ee mentions this in Kitaabul Umm.

To trim that which is more than limit (more than one fist, as is in Mu’attah
