Question: I had an argument with my wife and she in the presence of my brother’s wife asked for divorce and made her witness? What should I do? Does Divorce Count? How do I deal with this matter?  Can you give some advise on I should deal with Hikmah?

I had an argument with my wife and she in the presence of my brother’s wife asked for divorce and made her witness? What should I do? Does Divorce Count? How do I deal with this matter?  Can you give some advise on I should deal with Hikmah?


Answer:

 

                  

 

If you uttered the words of divorce when your wife requested a divorce from you then she will be divorced from you but if you did not utter the words of divorce to her then she will not be divorced from you.
