Should a factory close for Jumma or can it continue its activities?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
In the Masjid of the factory where I am employed, Jamath is conducted, at 1.15. Jumma Namaz is held at 2.00 in another Masjid. The owners of the factory say that they are unable to close the factory for Jumma due to incurring of loss. Namaz is performed by everybody but what Allah Tha’ala has mentioned about Jumma day in Sura e Jumma is to stop all the activities, if engaged in any. Please reply whether the factory should be closed for Jumma or no?

There is no harm according to Shari’a , rather it is permissible and correct if, some employees are selected by a draw or by mutual understanding to perform Jumma Salath in the Masjid where it is performed at 13.30 and on their return others in the other Masjid where it is performed at 14.00 and during the process factory too is made to run.
