Question: asalmo alaikum,
Allah says that nobody knows what is inside a mothers womb but doctors through ultra sound or some other source find out what is inside the womb. Please clarify.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful
Idea behind this Ayat is, knowing without the aid of instruments. Hence, getting information through certain machinery and equipment is not contradictory to the Ayat whereas these machinery do not provide absolute definite information in specific such as, whether the expectant baby would be fortunate or unfortunate; generous or stingy etc. etc.
