Is it permissible to touch the screen of the cell phone without wudu while Quranic Ayats are being displayed on it?
Is it permissible to have a Quranic app on my cell phone since it is usually in the side pocket of my kurta?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is impermissible to touch the screen of the cell phone without wudu while the Ayats of the Quran Karim are being displayed on the screen. However, it is permissible to touch the other parts of the phone during that time.
Having a Quranic app on a cell phone that is usually in one’s pocket is undesirable.
