Question:
Is this Hadith authentic?
“There will be more divorces at the end of time.”
Answer:
Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) has recorded a lengthy Hadith of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) on the authority of Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). One of the signs of Qiyamah mentioned in this narration is that divorces will increase.
‘Allamah ‘Iraqi (rahimahullah) has pointed out a weak narrator in the chain. (It should be noted that many other parts of this lengthy narration are corroborated)

Imam Abu ‘Amr Ad Dani (rahimahumallah) has recorded a lengthy narration wherein Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) enumerated the signs before the emergence of Dajjal. Among the signs he mentioned is that divorces will increase.
This chain is extremely weak.
