Did Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) have a cat named Muezza?

Question

Is there any authentic/sound narration supporting that Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) favourite cat was named Muezza/Mu’izza?

 

Answer

I have not come across a narration in any primary source nor any secondary source which states that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) had a cat/kitten called Mu’izza.
