A person who does not pay Zakah will not receive the complete reward for offering Salah

Is this narration authentic?

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) has said, “We have been commanded to perform Salah and to pay Zakah, so Salah will not be accepted from a person who does not pay Zakah.” [i.e. He will not receive the complete reward for Salah]

Answer

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 10095. Also see: Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 9919)

‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) states, ‘Imam Tabarani has recorded this with a few chains, one of them is authentic (sahih).’

(Targhib, vol.1 pg. 540, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 3 pg. 62)

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
