Is the following narration authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
‘The love for the Arabs is faith and hatred for them is disbelief. One who loved the Arabs, loves me and one who hates the Arabs, hates me.’
Answer
Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with a very weak chain.
(Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 2558. Refer: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 27)
