Answer

1) Sayyiduna Mu’adh ibn Jabal and Sayyiduna ‘Irbad ibn Sariyah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) report that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

Allah Ta’ala has an Angel which is half fire and half ice who says O Allah just as you have joined between this ice and fire, similarly join and create love between the hearts of your pious slaves.

(Kitabul ‘Azamah with a weak chain; refer Al Mughni ‘An Hamlil Asfar, Hadith: 1775)

2) Khalid ibn Ma’dan (rahimahullah) reports: There is an angel which is half light (Nur) and half ice who says “Glorified is Allah, O Allah just as you have joined between this nur and this ice, join and create love between the hearts of the believers. This is the only tasbih this Angel makes.

(Kitabul ‘Azamah of Abush Shaykh, Hadith: 487)
