An unreliable virtue of proceeding early for Jumu’ah

“Proceeding early for Jumu’ah Salah is the Hajj of the poor person from my Ummah”- Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Is this authentic?

Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration. However, this Hadith has been transmitted with a chain that has been declared a fabrication by the Muhaddithun. ‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has cited this narration in his book on fabricated Hadiths.

(Refer: Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, vol. 1 pg. 443, Hadith: 529)

The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

There are other authentic Hadiths which encourage proceeding early for Jumu’ah. These should be quoted instead. See here and here.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
