The heart does not find sweetness in worship when it is affected by sin

Can you mention the reference and Arabic text for this?

“The body becomes ill by disease while the hearts become ill by sins. Thus, just as the body doesn’t relish and take pleasure in sumptuous meals when a person is ill, so too does the heart not find sweetness in worship when it is affected by sin”

Answer

Imam Ibnul Jawzi (rahimahullah) has cited this as the inspirational statement of Yahya ibn Mu’adh Ar Razi (rahimahullah). [Demise: 258 AH]

(Dhammul Hawa, Hadith: 221)

Arabic text:

قال يحيى بن معاذ: سقم الجسد بالأوجاع وسقم القلوب بالذنوب فكما لا يجد الجسد لذة الطعام عند سقمه فكذلك القلب لا يجد حلاوة العبادة مع الذنوب

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
