Is ‘Hasbi rabbi’ authentic?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

Is it authentic?

Hasbi Rabbi jallallah ma fi qalbi ghayrullah Nuru Muhammad – sallallah, haqq, la ilaha illallah

Sufficient is for me my Rabb. Allah is Great. There is none in my heart besides [the love/belief of] Allah. Salutations of Allah be upon the light; Muhammad. Truly There is none worthy of worship but Allah.

Answer

These are not words from the Hadith.

It seems to have been formulated by someone as a habitual recital (wird) to express love for Allah Ta’ala and His Blessed Messenger (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam).

There is no harm in reciting it, without considering it as being from any Hadith.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best,
