Is this narration suitable to practice?

اشتكى رجل ضرسه فقال له رسول الله، ضع أصبعك السبابة على ضرسك ثم اقرأ: أو لم ير الإنسان أنا خلقناه من نطفة الآية

Answer

This Hadith has been transmitted with a chain that consists of two fabricators. This is not suitable to quote as a Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam).

(Refer: Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 1 pg. 295)

Translation

A man once complained of a toothache [on one of his molars]. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) advised him to place his forefinger on the molar and recite Verse: 77 of Surah Yasin.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
