Q1) Can you please explain what is jihad al-talab and when is it it supposed to be used and who gives the command to do the jihad al-talab
Answer
Wa ʿAlaykumus Salām Wa Raḥmatullāhī Wa Barakātuh
Jihād al-Ṭalab refers to the offensive war, rather than the defensive war, waged by the Muslims so that either the people (of the land being conquered by the Muslims) accept Islām (willingly) or they choose to live under Muslim rulership whilst not embracing Islām but will be liable to pay land taxes to the public treasury which will be used to benefit the poor, build infrastructure, and to either maintain or improve the living conditions for all.
It should be noted that Jihād al-Ṭalab is carried out on the command of the Islāmic Caliphate.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
