Q: Can a goat of 10 month age be done for qurbani? It is difficult to find 1 year old goat currently where I live in the USA.
I have read that a sheep can be done if less than 1 year old, but has size of 1 year old sheep. Why is this only for sheep, or is it for goats as well as sheep?
A:A goat must be at least one year of age. The concession mentioned is only applicable to sheep.
