Is it necessary to cook for the mother in law
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
It is mustuhub for the wife to cook or clean for the mother in law, but it is not something compulsory or necessary for her to do. The mother in law cannot force her to do the aforementioned chores, as she does not have full control over her daughter in law.
