Question:

Also if I live in Blackburn and travel to Preston for work and then go to and from Bolton all day long and that exceeds around 70 miles am I Musafir?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If you leave your home intending to eventually go to Bolton for less than 15 days, and the distance from the boundaries of your hometown of Blackburn to Bolton is over 48 miles you will be considered a Musafir.
