Question

Is it allowed to send Islamic books by post containing Dua’s and Quranic surahs/verses? Because the envelope will fall on the ground during the delivery process.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer

It will not be permissible to send the Holy Qur’an or any Islamic literature through the post. There is one way to get around the aforementioned scenario if a person really needs to send a Qur’an or Islamic literature by post and that is if one sends it by recorded delivery. Recorded delivery of a package is well handled and the Royal Mail try their best to deliver the package in its original pristine condition.
