Question:

Where should the legs of the chair be placed in the saff at the time of salah?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The chair should be placed in the saff in such a way that the body of the person seated in the chair should be in line with the bodies of the other people in his/her saff, not his/her feet. In this way, the people in the saff behind are not troubled by the chair being in their saff.[1]

Only Allah Ta’ala knows best.
