Travelling for job training without mahram

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

Question:

Is it permissible for women to go to job training with a mahram (during traveling only) after that mahram will come back to home while after 3 months he will again come to take his daughter or woman?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

It is prohibited in Shari’ah for a woman to travel the distance of safar (which is 48 miles or 78 km) without a mahram.

If she travels with her mahram and she is kept in a safe place where her chastity and respect is maintained, then it is permissible for her to live by herself during the training.[1]

Only Allah Ta’ala knows best.
