Is it permissible to talk while Quran is recited on radio in car?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I have come to Jeddah for job; here there is continuous tilawat of the holy Quran on radio. People listen to it while driving. I would like to know the following things: Is it ok to talk among us while the Quran is being recited on radio in our car while we are traveling, and when we stop at our destinations my fellow driver directly turns the ignition off which also causes the radio to turn off due to which the ayat remains incomplete.

Answer

(Fatwa: 658/387/L=1434)

It is necessary to listen to the holy Quran intently when it is recited. It is against etiquette to get busy in talking when the recitation of the holy Quran is on. Likewise the driver should also take this into consideration that when people are busy in talking then he should not play the recitation.
