Assalam u alliakum… If someone got a scholorship in the form of money and then he realized that the way he used, was illegal. now its not possible to give the money back to that organisation, person or institution. What should he do with that money of schlorship?

(Fatwa: 423/419=M)
If you did not fulfil the conditions of receiving scholarship from an individual or organization then the scholarship was not allowed for you. The amount should be returned to the owner; individual or organization. If it is not possible then the same amount should be given as charity to poor and needy:
قال الشامی: والا تصدقوا بھا فان سبیل الکسب الخبیث التصدق اذا تعذر الرد علی صاحبھا (الشامی: 9/553)
