How can I perform salaat without passing gas after childbirth?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I have a problem performing each salaat without passing gas during it. When I do sajda then get up, gas is slightly passed so easily that many times I am in doubt whether it was gas or just my suspicion. This is happening because of weakness in the muscles after childbirth. So I have to keep performing wudhu after wudhu, and sometimes there is not enough time for this. What should I do?

Answer

(Fatwa: 417/J)

Only with doubt and suspicion the wuzu does not break. Do not break your salah (prayer) until you are sure that your wuzu is nullified. You will be considered mazoor only when you do not find a time in which you perform wuzu and pray farz salah without passing gas. During this if the gas passing continues or occurs occasionally then you will be considered mazoor. And, a mazoor is allowed to perform one wuzu in a time of salah and then perform whatever salah and aamaal you like during this time and by passing gas your wuzu will not break. But, in order to remain mazoor it is necessary that the uzr (i.e. passing gas) occurs at least once, if it does not occur even once in a salah time then you shall not remain mazoor.
