ASSALAAMUALAIKUM,
I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT A PERSON WHO HAS A PROBLEM OF GAS AND CANNOT KEEP HIS OR HER WUDHU. IT IS LIKE EVERY 5 TO 10 MINUTES HE/SHE HAS A PROBLEM OF GAS AND HAS TO FART AND IF HE/SHE DOES NOT DO THAT, HE/SHE HAS A PROBLEM OF ACIDITY.
I WILL APPRECIATE IF YOU WILL THROW SOME LIGHT ON IT WHAT DOES THE RELIGION SAY ABOUT IT.
THANK YOU,
WASSALAAM.
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If you are unable to perform Wudhu and two rakaats Salaah within the time period stated by you before passing wind, you may consider yourself a Ma’zoor (excused person).[1]
Your Wudhu will be valid for an entire Salaah time. You should repeat your Wudhu upon the expiry of a Salaah time.[2]
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
